And now, tucked inside the former Mahogany Prime space, a new contender is stepping into the ring: Pivot Prime, the latest concept from Lucky Eleven Hospitality Group.
Right now, it’s still a work in progress—sawdust on the floor, contractors buzzing about, and the scent of fresh wood mingling with the imagined aroma of sizzling prime cuts. But despite the unfinished interior, the vision is clear. A spring 2025 opening remains on track, and anticipation is building.
At the helm of the kitchen is Chef Joel Hassanali, a man whose knives have carved a path through some of the best kitchens in the world. With a background in global cuisine and training under celebrity chefs, he’s got the chops (pun intended) to take the traditional steakhouse model and twist it into something exciting. Expect prime cuts, yes, but also the kind of culinary precision that turns a simple filet into something worth talking about.
Lucky Eleven Hospitality Group, the team behind Salted Edge and Sugared Ledge Bakery, is no stranger to making waves in Omaha’s food scene. And with Pivot Prime, they’re set to deliver an experience that’s equal parts classic, refined, and just dangerous enough to be interesting.
